Features & Configurations
*not really, but we stopped counting at billions
The RRBRsolo4 T is a compact, lightweight temperature logger designed for high-precision oceanographic measurements in demanding environments. It combines exceptional accuracy and resolution with extremely low power consumption, enabling multi-year deployments using any standard AA battery chemistry.
Engineered for durability in harsh marine conditions, the RBRsolo4 T delivers reliable, long-term performance across a wide range of oceanographic applications. Its small size lends itself to various applications from mooring to bore holes to profiling to towed arrays.
No other temperature logger on the market combines this level of accuracy with the ability to record as many readings on a single battery. The | fast option provides an additional capability to sample at up to 32Hz.
The RBRsolo4 T is calibrated to an accuracy of ±0.002ºC (ITS-90 and NIST traceable standards). The standard thermistor has a time constant of approximately one second (100ms for the | fast option).
The RBRsolo4 T has a measurement range of -5°C to +35°C in its standard calibration. However, it can be calibrated from -40°C to +50°C. The housing has a depth rating of 1700m, whereas the RBRsolo4 T | deep can go up to 10km deep.
