Sofar Spotter and Smart Mooring: realtime subsurface anywhere

The Spotter and Smart Mooring can change any combination of RBRcoda³ T, RBRcoda³ D, and RBRcoda³ T.D as integrated sensors into realtime remote devices. Sensor data are transmitted via cellular and/or satellite for immediate access on the Sofar dashboard, via the API, and also backed-up locally.

• Compatible with RBRcoda³ sensors
• Configurable sampling, statistics, and messaging
• Flexible arrangement allowing for surface, water column, and bottom sensor placement

The Spotter Metocean buoy also collects:

• Wave spectrum (sig. height, period, spread, direction)
• Wind speed and direction
• Surface current and direction
• Sea surface temperature
• Atmospheric pressure
• GPS position
