We’re thrilled to welcome Max Vergara Jara, Susie Crowe, and Cory Brooks to the RBR sales team. After some shuffles within the team, with Candace Smith moving to RBR’s marketing team and Qi Wang joining our research scientists, we are back on the ground in some key markets and ready to serve our customers.

Cory Brooks – Senior Sales Manager, APAC
We’re excited to be back on the ground in Australia and New Zealand with our new Asia-Pacific senior sales manager, Cory Brooks. Cory developed his sales career in the subsea exploration industry with equipment sales and rentals. An electronics tech by trade, he has a strong understanding of sensors and the logger systems monitoring them. He enjoys any type of outdoor activity, running, riding, swimming, and most recently snowboarding. His main mission in life is keeping his son’s tablet collecting dust while they learn the world together. Based in Brisbane, Cory will also be the direct sales contact for customers and agents in the region.

Susie Crowe – Technical Sales Manager, North America East
Susie Crowe is your new contact for direct technical sales in North America East, as Candace Smith takes on a new role as RBR’s product marketing manager. An ecologist-turned-salesperson, Susie worked in terrestrial and aquatic ecology before switching to Canada’s startup medical device industry, and now RBR. When she’s not meeting up with our customers at various events, she can most likely be found on the trails around the city with her family, or coaching recreational gymnastics.
Susie will be at the Oceans 2022 meeting in Hampton Roads – come say hi!

Max Vergara Jara – Ocean Science Applications Specialist
Max Vergara Jara joins RBR Sales as our new technical sales specialist. Max holds a PhD in Aquaculture Sciences from the Austral University of Chile and has more than 10 years of experience as both a research scientist and in oceanographic instrument sales. Originally from North Patagonia, Chile, Max moved to Ottawa this summer with his wife and two sons. A big fan of meeting new people, field trips, and good food, Max is here to support any and all inquiries from new and existing RBR customers.
